YOUR ROLE
Multiple opportunities for property Claims Consultants to join the NRMA team based in WA, QLD and SA on a full-time permanent basis. Your primary purpose is to assist our customers in their time of need, creating close relationships, with the aim to work fast and efficiently to ensure a smooth claims process. Taking inbound calls from customers and case managing your claims, you’ll assess information to lodge the claim and work with suppliers and repairers to ensure replacements and work are carried out in a timely manner.
Your IAG journey commences with a comprehensive, 4-5 week training block followed by another 6-week live supported training rockpool. Ongoing support, coaching and training is provided. Training will be a mixture of office based and virtual.
Once signed off as competent, employees can enjoy the benefits of flexible work arrangements. There is a minimum requirement to attend the office one day per month on team anchor days. There may be other times when office attendance is required.
You’ll need to be flexible to work on a rotating roster Monday to Friday between:
QLD 8:00am -7:00 pm
SA 7:30am – 6:30pm
WA 9:00am-5:00pm
Please note: During training WA employees may be required to start from 7am WA local time.
To work from home, you’ll need high-speed internet connection and a private home office set up.

- Effectively communicate with customers and diffuse conflict situations
- Strong customer focus including well developed customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills – ability to troubleshoot
- Good attention to detail
- Confidence to make decisions
