Overview
The Role
Our team is growing and we are hiring Claims Consultants in our Accident and Health team. These are opportunities would suit an experienced claim handler, or for an individual who has a background in insurance and has yet to process claims. This could also suit the right person who is interested in starting their career and you have a passion for learning, dedication to service and a motivated disposition. We invest in our people through succession planning and have a number of mentoring and training programs available.
These exciting opportunities on offer involve handling claims within our Accident and Health Team.
These positions will be offered on a permanent full-time basis and we offer a flexible hybrid approach of working in the office and from home.
How you'll make an impact
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a high-level customer service to all internal and external partners
- Managing a portfolio of Accident and Health insurance claims applying policy wording and guidelines to a customer’s claimed circumstances
- Processing claims from end to end to ensure resolution
- Engaging external rehabilitation assistance to assist individuals return to work
- Customer interactions by email and over the phone
About you

- PC literacy and Microsoft Office experience
- Minimum completion of Year 10 secondary school studies
