About the role:
We have a contract opportunity for an experienced Claims Certifying Officer within the Business Services & Payments team. You will be the main point of contact to review and validate the financial, procurement and employee claims and make sure that internal and external creditors are paid in a timely manner.
If you have high analytical and negotiation skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills we are looking for you to join our team.
What the role will involve:
- You will process the employee, financial and procurement claims
- You will manage secondary vendor master data file to maintain the vendor bank account and Australian Business Registration details to comply with ATO reporting requirements in relation to creditor settlements.
- You will investigate EFT and Cheque returns and action for payment re-direction
- You will take ownership of vendor relation queries and respond to internal and external stakeholders
- You will monitor finance claim processing performance and provide an ongoing consultancy service on the use of Concur platform for eligible claims
- You will provide advice and training to internal stakeholders to ensure effective claims management
Key skills and experience:
- You will have considerable experience in providing business and financial services in a commercially focussed organisation
- You have good knowledge and an understanding of electronic trading applications and processes
- You have good knowledge and capability in utilising SAP (FICO, MM and e-Procurement (SRM), Concur), and electronic banking systems
- You can lead and provide training and troubleshooting services to internal and external parties
