Our valued government client is looking for a Claims Officer (Workers' Compensation) to join the team on a temporary basis. Based in Brisbane's inner CBD, the role will be commencing ASAP and running for an initial duration until the end of June 2024, with possible extension. The hourly rate of pay will be circa $55 plus super.

Working within the organisation's Wellness, Safety & Health department, you will be responsible for assessing and managing Workers' Compensation in accordance with best practice standards.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Solid experience in the administration and management of QLD Workers' Compensation claims and strong working knowledge of relevant legislation
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills in order to effectively manage caseloads
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively negotiate with stakeholders
- Strong analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
