Lumus Imaging in Holmesglen private hospital are on the lookout for a Clerical Supervisor to join the team on a full time basis. As the Clerical Supervisor, you will be working closely with the team overseeing all aspects of radiology administration ensuring smooth workflow and efficient processes whilst meeting KPI’s as required.
The successful candidate will be customer/patient driven, focusing on minimising call abandonment rates on Avaya, excellent turn around times in our upcoming e-referral space and consistently up to date with billing and claiming.
They will be a mentor to their team whilst constantly upskilling themselves to stay relevant in this constantly changing space. They will have a solid understanding of MBS items/Medicare rules, Workcover/TAC billing and with troubleshooting account/billing issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and training your Clerical team whilst providing guidance and support to ensure excellent productivity and service.
- The use of Workforce Dimensions to roster your team.
- Utilisation of new technology and applications to maximise workflows.
- Implementation of new and existing company policies and procedures to ensure your team meets company standards.
- Handling escalated patient inquiries and complaints to resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Handling and training of billing, resubmissions, and accounts.
Excellent knowledge of Visage, Avaya/Ring Central, Medicalis will be highly favoured.
Lumus Holmesglen is a busy hospital radiology site with an extensive list of imaging services including MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography and Ultrasound among others. We provide inpatient, outpatient and emergency radiology services for the hospital and have a range of specialist and general practitioner referrers.
