Reception/Administration
Part Time (the role will be subject to a 3-month probationary period)
Leading multidisciplinary paediatric clinic
The ideal candidate will have previous customer facing service experience preferably within an allied health team. You will be warm, engaging and have an excellent customer service orientation which will be critical to your success in this role. You will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, the ability to multi-task and have a solution-based focus.

We work within a multi-disciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, and social workers. At our sensory aware clinic, our professionals strive to deliver the highest quality care to our clients. As our Receptionist/Administration Assistant you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive the support they need from the moment they walk through our doors.
Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanour.
• Answer a high volume of phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
• Schedule client appointments efficiently.
• Collect payments, process transactions accurately and securely, managing invoices and daily reconciliation of daily funding takings.
• Managing Medicare claims and NDIS fundings on behalf of clients.
• Assist with administrative tasks and general office duties as needed to support the efficient operation of the clinic.
• Collect and verify patient information accurately and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements:
• Excellent communication (Written and verbal) and interpersonal skills including a mature and professional approach to customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients.
• Proficiency computer literacy skills including the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications.
• Flexibility with availability
Qualifications and Experience: (Preferred not essential)
• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role desirable.
• Qualifications in client services and administration is preferred.
• Experience in the use of Clinical Management software is preferred.

• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
