This role will be pivotal in combining the finesse of Client Relationship management with the strategic acumen of bid and tender management.
Role Overview:
As a Client Relationship and Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in forging and nurturing long-term Client Relationships as well as steering the bid and tender processes to successful conclusions. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position is integral to the company's strategy and operational excellence, underscoring your role as a key driver of our market leadership.
Central to your responsibilities will be coordinating and managing the entire tender process, from the identification of opportunities through to the preparation, submission, and follow-up of bids. This holistic approach to management guarantees adherence to contractual requirements while ensuring that all bids are strategically aligned with Boom Logistics' overarching goals. Your mission will be to deeply understand client needs and ensure the seamless execution of our national operations, directly contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs, objectives, and pain points.
- Lead and coordinate the bid and tender process, ensuring competitive and compliant submissions.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, resolving inquiries, and providing exceptional support.
- Manage contractual agreements and negotiations, maintaining professional standards and operational excellence.
- Conduct contract reviews, project risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the flawless delivery of services.
- Drive initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and retention, leveraging regular feedback.
- Analyse performance data and implement continuous improvement strategies.
Skills and Attributes:
- Demonstrable experience in Client Relations and Bid Management, with a proven track record of success.
- Expertise in managing the entire tender process, from identification to submission and follow-up.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- High level understanding of structuring commercial proposals
- High-level sales acumen and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Professional presentation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
