Role Overview:
As a Clinical Administration Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of all clinical and administrative processes within the clinic. The ideal candidate will have a background as a healthcare professional and possess strong administrative and leadership skills. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and compassionate individual who is committed to enhancing patient care and optimizing clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the clinic’s administrative and clinical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
- Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of patient care.
- Lead, train, and support administrative staff in their day-to-day activities, ensuring a high level of patient service and satisfaction.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and department heads to facilitate seamless patient care and services.
- Oversee the scheduling of appointments, patient registration, billing, and record-keeping processes.
- Handle patient complaints and queries, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in managing patient information and clinic records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess, plan, and implement improvements in clinic services and patient care.
- Prepare and manage budgets, oversee billing activities, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Stay updated on healthcare regulations, trends, and best practices, and ensure clinic compliance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a healthcare professional either as a medical doctor or allied health professional with a transition into administrative roles.
- Post Graduate degree in Healthcare Administration, Management, or related field.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centred service.
- Proficient in healthcare software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical terminologies, and clinic procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage administrative operations in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA in the United States, GDPR in Europe), and experience ensuring compliance.
