Exciting opportunity to be a Clinical Assistant in Medical imaging with the School of Medical Sciences
Base Salary from $83,384 + 17% superannuation

As a Research Assistant, you will be working at Charles Perkins Centre for the School of Medical Sciences, the Centenary Institute and the RPA hospital with senior academic and clinical staff who all share a passion for innovative research investigation. You will be involved in the day-to-day coordination of logistics for patients undergoing cardiac MRI and work in a laboratory that specialize in exploring the molecular and cellular basis of rare cardio-vascular diseases.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
assists with the design, development and documentation of suitable research protocols
conduct experiments, data analysis, prepare reporting and presentations and carry out literature searches
maintain research laboratory organisation
maintain academic and research records for the project(s), including project registers, EndNote libraries and publication registers
coordinate logistics for patients appointment, sample collection and archiving
undertake the ad-hoc projects and other activities.
About you
experience in a research-intensive environment
tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Honours)
experience in carrying out literacy searches and preparing literary reviews for further analysis
extensive experience in developing and working on research projects, including expertise in using research protocols, experimental design, ethics submissions and grant applications
you will be an excellent communicator both oral and written
tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
