Position Summary
As our Clinical Leader, you will be at the forefront of Clinical Leadership and operational management in Aged Care and NDIS services. This pivotal role ensures the delivery of high-quality care, drives clinical governance, and oversees daily operations. You will also navigate and implement aged care and NDIS reforms to enhance service delivery and compliance.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Operational Component:
- Ensure compliance with legislation and reporting obligations.
- Lead operational projects and oversee daily operations.
- Assist with staff rosters and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor and report on KPIs.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
Clinical Care and Governance Systems:
- Establish and maintain clinical governance systems.
- Develop tools to measure outcomes.
- Lead clinical audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide clinical oversight and support to staff.
- Act as a clinical resource for staff, clients, and families.
- Ensure awareness and implementation of aged care and NDIS reforms.
Compliance to Quality Standards:
- Manage preparations and responses to aged care and NDIS reforms.
- Prepare self-assessments and lead external audits.
- Maintain relationships with audit agencies.
- Educate staff and stakeholders on reform changes.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Tertiary degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or similar.
- Substantial work experience in the aged care sector.
- Strong clinical assessment, organisational, and communication skills.
