About you:
You will be a qualified Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Speech Pathologist with demonstrated high-level experience in establishing, leading, and managing internal and cross-agency collaboration within a mental health context, comprehensive understanding of clinical and quality safety processes, including collection and analysis of data for reporting on service performance and high-level knowledge and experience in child and youth mental health service components in Queensland, in particular culturally appropriate child and adolescent mental health and Alcohol and Other Drug assessment, evidence-based interventions, case management and the formulation of recovery plans.
Your opportunity:
To facilitate the collaborative development, implementation, monitoring and review of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service Child Youth and Mental Health Service (CYMHS) Ed-LinQ program in alignment with the State Ed-LinQ program
Your role:
- Maintain strong linkages with local mental health, education, primary care, and community sectors.
- Attend key cross-sectoral forums to inform the collaborative development, implementation, and review of annual HHS Ed-LinQ work plans in alignment with the annual state Ed-LinQ work plan.
- Collaboratively develop, implement, and review an annual regional cross-sectoral forum to inform strategic planning for the HHS Ed-LinQ Reference Group.
- Provide support for CYMHS teams and clinicians in adopting the functions of the Ed-LinQ program.
- Identify and consider relevant data to inform strategic development of the annual work plans, including consideration of equity in service responses for vulnerable groups and diverse geographical locations.
