Exciting opportunity for qualified and experienced Registered/Clinical Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Educator.
The Clinical Nurse educator is responsible for providing high level support and assistance to Home and Community Aged Care Customers to help promote wellness and re-ablement and provide education for Care workers in the Home and Community Aged Care and NDIS programs through the coordination and implementation of clinical training programs for these UC staff. Clinical programs vary and may include Manual Handling and Medication Management.
- Provide clinical coaching or training advice to staff and manager as required Deliver clinical training programs to staff across NDIS and HCAC in UC
- Conducting assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the customer’s care
- Reviewing clinical incidents and developing appropriate strategies to respond to the customer needs.
- Provide person centred services that are responsive and flexible.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- AHRRA Registration as Registered Nurse
- Bachelor degree in Nursing.
- Certificate 4 in training, viewed favourably.
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Previous management experience, preferably in an Aged Care environment
- Committed to leading, directing and working as part of team
- Knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation Standards, Aged Care Act ANACC and legislation
- Current flu and COVID-19 vaccinations
