Form of workBalmoral Bush Nursing Centre (BBNC) is seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Clinical Nursing Coordinator. BBNC is a highly regarded nurse led rural health service which proudly delivers a wide range of services to our community in Western Victoria.
About the role:
The Clinical Nursing Coordinator is responsible for implementation of clinical operations at a direct care level. You will be mentoring and leading a passionate team of nurses alongside a supportive leadership team. This role has exceptional growth potential for the right candidate.
Day to day tasks include:
- District nursing
- Primary care
- Urgent care
- Emergency management, stabilisation and referral of clients
- Community health promotion
- Coordinate, plan, implement and evaluate clinical service delivery
- Supervision of the Clinical Nursing team
Permanent part time position - minimum 48 hours per fortnight.
About you:
- You are a Registered Nurse Div 1 with minimum 3 years post graduate experience
- You have completed, or are willing to complete, Remote Area Nurse certification under the Ambulance Victoria Remote Area Nurse Emergency Guidelines
- You have demonstrated leadership and management skills and the ability to inspire and support a clinical team
- You are flexible and organised and can prioritise your time well
- You show evidence of and a commitment to client focused care, clinical governance and quality improvement. Knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and/or Primary and Community Healthcare Standards would be an advantage
- You excel in written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
- You hold a current Victorian Drivers licence
- Midwifery or RIPRN qualifications would be an advantage
