The Safeguards Team is a new dedicated Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) resource providing innovative and best practice care to children and adolescents aged 0-18 years experiencing acute mental health distress. Providing clinical leadership to CAMHS clinicians across NNSW LHD in the provision of evidence based best practice care to children and adolescents with mental health issues. Providing clinical psychology services within the Safeguard Service team which is community based and will provide rapid, mobile, intensive and flexible short term delivery of skilled evidence based interventions to resolve mental health crisis both in the community and acute facilities.
If you have:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist with a postgraduate qualification at Masters level or higher in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or other relevant specialty
Demonstrated clinical psychology experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, and the expertise to provide leadership and direction in the application of recognised and relevant evidence based psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention
Experience in providing clinical psychological services within a child and adolescent mental health setting
Demonstrated knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act, the NSW Mental Health Competency Standards and National Practice Standards for Mental Health Workforce
