The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for qualified Psychologists & Clinical Psychologists to join our inclusive and vibrant team at Ramsay Clinic Macarthur!

As part of our growing and diverse Allied Health team, successful candidates will be facilitating inpatient and/or outpatient groups. The current team takes a patient centred and dynamic approach to the care of our patients and the successful applicant will share our passion.

Successful candidates will have opportunities to work across:

• Our well established General Mental Health Program
• Working specifically with young people as part of our Youth Program
• Varied day program services, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Skills Group, Mood/Anxiety Disorders program, Mental Health Support programs.
• Each of these programs provide support, skills and education in the treatment and management of a range of presentations. 

Your Skills and Experience

• Facilitating group therapy using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness.
• Accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology, APHRA registered and unrestricted general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be self-motivated and function autonomously whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent time management and organisational skills

Remuneration

A base hourly rate dependent on experience level and qualifications.

Psychologist: $36.35 - $56.49 + superannuation (NSW HPSS EA Year 1-8)

Clinical Psychologist: $54.77 - $67.05 + superannuation (NSW HPSS EA Year 1-5)

Ramsay Clinic Macarthur is a 48-bed facility, located near the centre of Campbelltown providing specialised and holistic treatment for a range of mental health presentations. Ramsay Clinic Macarthur offers excellent evidence-based clinical care, provided by a dedicated team of health professionals including psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, psychologists, counsellors and specialist nurse therapists.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
