Howdy, we're Heidi 👋“I've never heard of Heidi”Heidi was established in 2021 by Dr. Tom Kelly and co-founder Waleed Mussa. In 2023, we secured our $10 million Series A funding round, led by Blackbird, a leading VC in Australia. Heidi's mission is to create an essential medical AI system that humanity can't live without. We envision that by 2050, every clinician will rely on AI systems to ease administrative tasks and enhance the quality and accessibility of care for patients worldwide.Currently, we offer a suite of tools that transform how patients interact with their healthcare practitioners, and how clinicians provide care. Heidi's Scribe, for instance, transcribes consultations, generating clinical notes, documents, and outlining next-step actions. These tools are gradually being integrated into a platform poised to redefine healthcare delivery. With your help, we plan to devise an architecture for elegant and safe AI patient engagement agents to extend a clinician's zone of influence with their patients pre-, during, and post- a clinical visit.
