About the Position
Reporting to the Bathurst Production Manager, the CNC machinist is responsible for all machining operations. Duties include:
• Performing operations on CNC machines.
• Operating planer.
• Completing precision mechanical measurements.
• Interpreting technical drawings for component specifications.
• Following and complying with all service quality and safety standards, procedures and regulations.
About You
To be successful in the CNC Machinist position with the voestalpine Railway Systems team, you will need:
• Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical Trade).
• Experience with CNC machines in high performance .
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Willing and able to complete a pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including Drug & Alcohol Testing.
