Our client is a leading medical device company dedicated to improving the lives of patients by developing innovative products. We are seeking an experience CNC Operator - Programmer to join our client's workshop team. The site is in Lane Cove West industrial park.
Responsibilities:
- Programming, tooling and troubleshooting CNC machines,
- Operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts,
- Ensuring the precision and quality of the final product,
- Performing regular maintenance tasks,
- Conducting quality checks,
- Ensuring the machines are running efficiently.
Qualifications and experience:
- Relevant trade qualifications,
- Competent in the operation of CNC, manual lathes and milling machines,
- Experience on CNC lathe with live tooling,
- Familiar with designing and machining up Jigs and fixtures,
- Familiar with Okuma 5 Axis or Haas CNC machines. (Haas TM-1P and Haas ST-20Y),
- Familiar with HSMworks is a plus,
- Ability to read & understand technical drawings,
- High level of mechanical aptitude and capability to deliver quality work,
- Attention to detail,
- Focus on safety,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Must have full unrestricted Australian working rights
- Previous knowledge of ISO 13485 and their application in medical device maintenance is a plus.
