Position Overview: Orangetheory Fitness is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Coach/Receptionist. This multifaceted role involves providing exceptional customer service as a front desk receptionist while also leading and motivating members through Orangetheory Fitness workouts as a coach. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fitness, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach Orangetheory Fitness Classes:
- Lead high-energy Orangetheory Fitness workouts that incorporate cardiovascular and strength training intervals.
- Motivate and inspire members to reach their fitness goals through effective coaching and encouragement.
- Provide modifications and guidance to accommodate various fitness levels and abilities.
- Ensure the safety and proper technique of all participants during workouts.
Front Desk Reception:
- Greet members and guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with member inquiries and concerns.
- Handle member check-ins, payments, and administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and studio environment.
Customer Service:
- Build strong relationships with members by providing personalized attention and support.
- Address member feedback, concerns, and questions in a professional and timely manner.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Orangetheory Fitness, promoting the studio’s services and programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages member engagement and retention.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fitness instruction, coaching, or personal training preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- CPR/AED certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
- Cert 3 minimum to coach
