About the Role:
We are now looking for an exceptional Collection Officer / Account Receivable to be the newest member of the support team based in our Rhodes office reporting to the Collections Manager NSW / ACT. This role provides support for a specific group of credit customers.
You will be responsible for the daily reconciliation of accounts, collection of debts, account maintenance, customer queries, dispute resolution and managing internal and external phone calls in large volumes. Part of this role will require you to build strong relationships with customers and the extended Bunnings team, while working closely with the Commercial, Trade and Retail Operations teams.

What's involved:
Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable
Collection of debts
Account maintenance
Liaising with internal & external stakeholders
Providing fast email responses to customers queries
Dispute resolution
Handling Inbound account calls
You'll need:
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or similar
Previous experience in a Credit / Accounts Receivable role
A strong results orientation and achievement of KPIs
Outstanding communication skills that allow you to
Negotiator who can utilise empathy and assertiveness to achieve outcomes
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel / Word)
Ability to work au Well-developed interpersonal skills
Capable of working autonomously and as part of a team
A high level of speed and accuracy
A proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment demonstrating flexibility and professionalism
Impeccable administration skills with a high attention to detail
Ability to handle high volumes of incoming calls
