About the role- Management of accounts within the debtors system to ensure that any falling beyond acceptable payment terms are promptly contacted and any in arrears and cleared as effectively as possible
- Creating statements of outstanding invoices as required
- Dealing with all correspondence via phone, email and mail effectively
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with all Clients
- Working as part of a team to ensure success in the collection of payments while working working within internal policies and government legislation
About you
- Relevant certificate/diploma in Accounting/Finance or something similar
- Previous experience in a collection/receivable type role
- Must be proficient in Excel
- Must be confident and clear while speaking with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Customer service focussed
