Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Collections Officer for a leading and respected organisation based in the healthcare sector.
The role is offering ongoing temporary work with a potential for permanency within a fast-paced environment, managing high both health billings and collections.
If you have proven experience in a similar role within the health sector and have excellent negotiation skills this role will be a great opportunity.
The Role
Reporting to the Manager you will be responsible for collecting within a high volume, fast-paced environment.
Your duties will involve:
- High volume collection calls (Patients)
- Receipting and processing payments
- Repayment negotiations
- Processing Medicare payments
- Health fund collections
- Providing high level of customer service within a complex portfolio
- Strong understanding of credit policy and compliance

Your Profile
To be successful you will have proven experience in a high-volume collections role. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in health collections / billing
- Excellent communication skills with key stakeholders
- Able to start immediately
An ability to work in a high-volume environment and to meet the organisation's KPI's essential for this opportunity.
