The Commercial Facilities Leader will contribute to the operational objectives of the Facilities and Fleet Team, undertaking activities that require the ability to exercise judgement and contribute critical knowledge regarding facility related matters, informing the development of processes and procedures which are compliant with relevant regulations.
Under the direction and advice of the Manager Facilities, Fleet and Reception, this role will maintain responsibility for the Commercial Facilities of Meli.
The Commercial Facilities Leader will work under limited direction in the application of Meli procedures, methods and guidelines, responding to and solving operational problems and challenges using knowledge and judgement. The position will support Meli employees and work as part of a team to maintain Meli facilities to the highest standard.

- Minimum 3-years’ experience in facility, asset or project management or a similar role.
- Tertiary qualification in business management, project management or equivalent.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation to ensure compliance in building occupancy and safety.
- Demonstrated experience of dealing with external stakeholders and complex organisations to ensure priorities and deadlines are achieved.
- Key involvement in strategic planning and decision-making regarding area planning, workforce planning, risk management & culture.
- Plan, support and lead specific projects and new initiatives as required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication capabilities.
- A demonstrated knowledge in a range of software packages including MS Office, databases, online fleet management systems, online contractor, and asset management systems.
