We are currently seeking expressions of interest from team members interested in the position, Commercial Finance Manager. The Commercial Finance Manager will oversee dnata's financial program, encompassing the development of new business and renewal proposals, management of the sales pipeline, improvement of commercial yield and the implementation of the financial reporting function.
Position Overview
The Commercial Finance Manager will play a crucial part in shaping financial strategies, optimising processes, and ensuring sustainable growth.
It will also involve contract management and the management of client relations to ensure efficient and effective service meeting and exceeding the company’s and our clients’ expectations.
Primary duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits on SLAs to identify financial risks and ensure compliance with industry standards, legislation, and company policies
- Design and monitor financial KPIs, providing recommendations to enhance overall financial performance
- Take full responsibility for costing and pricing
- Analyse market trends and evaluate the financial feasibility of potential new client opportunities
- Collaborate with the finance team to implement internal controls to minimise revenue leakage and billing discrepancies
- Oversee and improve billing procedures to maintain a high level of invoicing accuracy.
- Investigate billing disputes and work with internal stakeholders to promptly resolve issues
- Monitor and manage client financial accounts inquiries including billing, dispute resolution and debt chasing
- Travel as required
- Undertake any other duties as required by senior management
To be considered for this position you should address the following criteria in a written application:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Extensive experience in Commercial Finance management
- Strong technical accounting/finance knowledge
- Significant experience in engagement, negotiation and influencing stakeholders particularly around contracts and service level agreements
- Experience in reporting and compliance with respect to commercial performance
- Extensive experience in engaging and influencing staff to ensure the delivery of a wide range of stakeholder expectations, diverse interests and demands
- Highly developed communication skills both written and oral and presentation skills
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving and decision making
