Your responsibilities:
This role will suit a Commercial Lawyer or a General Practice Lawyer.
You will:
- enjoy working in an office that provides variety;
- be able to hit the ground running across a broad spectrum of work including: commercial leasing, business sale or purchase, estates matters or assisting the conveyancing team with any tricky matters;
- you will enjoy mentoring and supervising junior members in the team.
The firm is fortunate to receive work from a variety of sources including inter office referrals and walk ins. They too would welcome your existing relationships with local agents, financial planners and other professionals but certainly have an abundance of work available.
Your Team:
Within this office, you will be the main solicitor who is available to clients - you will be relied upon as a trusted advisor. You will receive support from paralegal staff, the residential conveyancing work is handled by an experienced paralegal, and will not form part of your daily file load.
You will have access to support and collaboration from other practitioners across the firm's other offices as and when required. So for the most part, you will be happy to work autonomously.
Suitable Candidates will offer:
- at least 4 years PAE in commercial law or general practice;
- the ability to handle a broad range of matters with autonomy, particularly leasing, commercial agreements and estates matters;
- a commercial and common sense approach and ;
- a keen interest in networking and business development.
