Our client is seeking applications from lawyers with 1+ PAE in commercial and property law to join their firm. The successful candidate will be working closely with an accredited specialist director with strong opportunity for advancement in a friendly and growing firm.
The position offered is on a full-time basis. While long-established to support flexible-working arrangements as needed, the position is generally on-site and working in their newly renovated office facility located just off the Pacific Highway. Parking is available on-site.
The successful candidate will:
Have proven results in property transaction processes.
Possess strong technical and drafting skills.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be highly motivated and have effective attention to detail.
Have the ability to work autonomously and collaborate on complicated matters across the firm.
Be results driven and reliable.
Have a current QLD Practising Certificate.
Experience in PEXA transactions are required.
Role responsibilities:
File management of a wide variety of property and commercial matters;
Manage and organise a large conveyancing file load from A to Z, right up to and including arranging settlements.
Liaising with clients, banks and other solicitors;
Sales and purchases of business;
Acting for lessors and lessees in commercial leases including retail shop leases;
Managing clients and expanding your professional profile; and
Participating and sharing in the ongoing growth of the firm.
