About Us:
A dynamic and forward-thinking law firm specializing in corporate, property and commercial law. We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Commercial Associate to join our team and play a pivotal role in assisting our commercial practice.
We are seeking an individual with an outstanding ability to excel in problem-solving and who feels at ease delving deeply into legal domains where we may not possess extensive expertise.
The position will encompass a variety of sectors, including IP/IT, regulatory guidance, general commercial matters, and joint ventures and structuring. It's important to note that we do not require in-depth expertise in every one of these areas, but we do value a strong inclination and readiness to acquire knowledge in these fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our commercial team on a diverse array of legal matters, including but not limited to debt, funds, construction, joint ventures, and general commercial cases.
- Apply your problem-solving skills and commercial acumen to effectively address legal challenges.
- Continuously adapt and expand your expertise to dive into new areas of law as required.
- Work closely with experienced professionals to contribute to the success of our clients.
- Assist in the development of business opportunities and client relationships.
- Proven experience as an Associate in a commercial law setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Commercial acumen and the capacity to grasp complex legal issues.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Admitted to practice in Queensland
- Experienced in practicing in Queensland
