A high profile, end user organization with significant capital reserves have retained us to search and select a client-side project Commercial Manager for a complex Tier 1 $300m+ building project. This Perth operational facility is one of the top performing operations in the world and has an annual capital spend which does not fluctuate with the economy, of $200m, with major project spend like this one on top of business as usual spend.
This exciting, once in a lifetime, complex building will enter an ECI process with construction starting end of 2024 and completion in 2027. The build uses cutting edge technology starting with a complex in ground basement, heavy structure, HV and infrastructure that will be a rewarding challenge for any team. The Commercial Manager will be part of the senior leadership team representing the client, overseeing a Tier 1 Contractor providing commercial and financial management support to the project team in areas of strategies, risk management and day to day administration and controls.

Minimum criteria for the Commercial Manager:
- 10+ years commercial building experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Contract Administrator or Project Manager
- Tier 1 or 2 project experience on $50m+ building projects
- Experience on the Client side or QS Consultancy advantageous
- Tertiary qualified in quantity surveying, construction management, commerce
- The right to work in Australia
- Perth based or enroute
