Queensland's $2B Housing Investment Fund is seeking two Commercial Project leads.
As the Commercial Project Director, Housing Investment Fund you will
- Lead and manage HIF project, work teams and group activities, including planning activities and evaluation of proposals to deliver social and affordable housing by a hybrid workforce of employees, contractors, and technical advisors.
- Provide financial, commercial and policy advice to Government and stakeholder agencies related to delivery of social and affordable housing.
- Identify and manage relationships with potential HIF proponents, such as community housing providers, developers, builders, financiers and institutional investors, to build participation and inform ongoing design and delivery in the context of policy and market priorities.
- Develop networks to facilitate delivery of planned project and program outcomes in accordance with timeframes and budgets; and deliver solutions that add value and manage risks.
- Represent Treasury in complex and sensitive negotiations, consultations and forums to support and promote the delivery of social and affordable housing to achieve the HIF target.
- Contribute to developing solutions that satisfy the State's economic and financial objectives and protect the State's interests.
- success in leading and managing internal work teams and advisors
- experience in the successful delivery of significant and complex investment and commercial projects
- a record of innovation to ensure value for money, contract management and risk management
- significant expertise and knowledge in:
- providing robust and influential advice on commercial and property opportunities
- financial and commercial analysis of commercial and property transactions
- a background in navigating and managing highly complex stakeholder engagement and relationships, strategy and policy implementation, and service delivery
- delivery of high-quality written material to support business requirements.
