Royal on the Park Hotel & Suites is an important part of Brisbane’s history – everyone has a story about their experience with the ‘hotel with the flags’. The people of Brisbane carry a special fondness for our hotel; couple this with our prime location close to the river overlooking the City Botanic Gardens and you’ve got a winning combination on your hands.
We are currently seeking a creative Commis Chef with a passion to learn.
We know that there are lots of industry opportunities out there, however, we have a small dedicated team that are supported and encouraged to learn.

What we need from you:
- Relevant trade qualifications (minimum Commercial Cookery Cert III with at least 1 years’ experience, working in a commercial kitchen)
- Basic Industry Experience in commercial cooking is a must, including ala carte, production, breakfast, lunch and dinner services
- Flexibility to work around a varying roster
- Demonstrated ability to work in a safe, hygienic and professional manner
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Recognised food safety training certificate
