We are currently seeking full time Commis and Demi Chefs to join our culinary brigade in A La Carte. The successful applicants will have relevant trade qualifications, thrive working in a fast-paced environment, be creative, have a positive upbeat attitude and be passionate about food and luxury guest service.
In this role you will be producing menu items for our signature breakfast buffet in Suzette restaurant and providing service for the restaurant's A La Carte dining.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Experience in a similar role in a five star or luxury environment (preferred)
- Trade qualified in Commercial Cookery (essential)
- Excellent food hygiene and knowledge of kitchen safety procedures
- A true desire to work, grow and develop within the Sofitel Brisbane Central
- Passion for providing an exceptional product
- Enthusiasm and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Friendly, outgoing personality and a high standard of personal presentation.
