Commis / Demi Chef

The Role:

We're looking for a Commis / Demi Chef who is motivated, engaged and eager to learn. The ideal candidate must have a passion for producing excellent food and will be given an opportunity to acquire culinary skills and experience in a fine dining establishment. We also require a team player who can commit to a minimum of 2 afternoon/evening shifts per week.

• A la carte fine dining
• Catering for conference & events
• Deliver high quality, consistent, and well presented food for our guests
• Assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen
• Be apart of a positive & very professional team
• Partake in the creation of menus and contribute your ideas
• Follow all OHS policies and procedures.

About You:

• Have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• A passion for producing high quality food.
• A can do approach with the ability to follow directions and have initiative.
• Available for a range of shifts including weekends.
• A commitment to producing consistent results of a high quality.
• Have a reliable car to drive to and from Yarra Glen
