Duties

• To participate in the day to day production of food and assist with the efficient, cost effective and smooth running of the kitchen.
• Adhering to food production and presentation standards, service procedures and service times.
• Ensuring proper food storage and stock rotation procedures are adhered to.
• Responding to and treating colleagues with professional respect and courtesy.
• Adhering to occupational health and safety guidelines, as outlined in the induction manual and other policies.

Required experience / qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, Diploma of Hospitality Management (specialising in Commercial Cookery) or equivalent.
• 3 years experience in a commercial kitchen as a chef.
