Commissioning and Planning Officer
Location - Liverpool (remote working conditions available) There will three positions available for temporary opportunities for 3-6 Month periodGrade 7/8 - $106,025 - $117,363 p.a. + Superannuation
Flexible work practices including some work from home, flexible working hours, 35-hour week and flex leave
Your role
The Commissioning and Planning Officer role facilitates engagement with sector and communities to improve the local supply of services, builds collaborative relationships with providers and develops avenues for contract management that directly contribute to better outcomes for individuals, families, and communities across South Western Sydney District. The work is dynamic, fast-paced, and requires a sophisticated range of skills and experience. Program areas include Targeted Early Intervention, Permanency Support, Homelessness, and Domestic and Family Violence contracts that support vulnerable children, young people, and families.
What you’ll do
To be successful in this role you will be a good negotiator and have demonstrated experience in developing and building relationships with key stakeholders and across Government and non-Government sector. Innovative and client focused, you will strive for excellent service delivery and promote change in the sector and operate with creativity and with a focus on outcomes for children, young people, families and communities. High level communication, decision making, and project management skills are a must.
What we’re looking for
• Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
• A valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel.

• National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
• Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
