Job description:
The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to develop, execute and maintain the EPMO’s communications strategy and become a trusted advisor for communiations that support the enterprise change agenda and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and embed a Communications Strategy for EPMO that covers:
EPMO team
The broader achievements of the Strategic Change Portfolio as a whole
Maintaining an EPMO brand and presence including articulation of service offerings
Developing/maintaining communications channels as per the strategy (including internal team related and external stakeholder facing) and acting as the central point of contact for updates and amendments as required
Develop and maintain the EPMO stakeholder map as per the comms strategy, actively maintaining relationships with our key SC&P stakeholder groups to ensure this remains relevant
Development of templates and supporting guides to provide best practice across communications activities; to be utilised internally by the EPMO and externally by our Strategic Change and Partnering Teams.
Champion consistency of team materials and standardisation where applicable
Ad hoc communications support to the team including assistance with messaging and tools
Trusted advisor to the wider SC&P teams on messaging and tools
Skills & Experience
Capabilities
Exceptional written communication and design skills with demonstrable experience of building engaging and informative content
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders and build relationships across the enterprise
Ability to quickly assimilate large quantities of information from different sources (sometimes with a technical focus) and identify/interpret into (simple) key relevant messages for different audiences
Self Motivated, comfortable to work independently or within a team as required
Contiuously sees opportunities for improvement and proactively implements enhancements to communications and channels
Technical Skills
Advanced MS Sharepoint/Powerpoint and familiarity with a range of Design tools and corporate comms channels (ie. Yammer)
Exposure to project delivery, PMO, resource management and Technology concepts
Working knowledge of the insurance industry (or similar financial industries)
Experience in either internal or external communications role working within a large scale and complex organisation.'
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in communications/advertising/marketing or similar field of study
