We have an exciting opportunity for a Communication Officer to join our Team. Working in our high-performing Destination, Communication and Customer Experience Unit and as a business partner to Council services, your role will be to inform, educate and engage the Tweed community and our staff so they get the most out of Council programs and services. About the role: We are looking for an experienced team player who can use their visual and written communication and storytelling skills to create effective content, in plain language, for a range of audiences in traditional, social and digital channels.
The ideal candidate will be someone who understands and uses technology and social media and has a passion for communications to help inform and engage the community. It is a hands-on, proactive role that will suit someone who enjoys a buzzing, productive environment and is able to prioritise workload to meet business needs. The successful candidate will take pride in producing quality and engaging content that cuts through the noise.
