Location - Sydney CBD
Temporary full time (up to 6 months)
Salary ranging from $106,025 to $117,363pa. Plus, employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
Reporting to the Manager, Events and Communication, you will produce and deliver online content across digital channels including social media for the Office for Veterans Affairs (OVA) websites. The role will also coordinate and lead agreed communications project and program work that contributes to the successful implementation and delivery of objectives of OVA, while supporting the achievement of services to government and other stakeholders.
What you'll do
You'll coordinate and lead agreed communications project and program work that contributes to the successful implementation and delivery of objectives of OVA, while supporting the achievement of services to government and other stakeholders.
Coordinate the maintenance of the portfolio's social media accounts and web portals ensuring compliance with departmental practices.
Contribute to the preparation of formal correspondence, advice, briefs, speeches and reports to advise and/or respond to Ministerial and Departmental requests.
You will also assist with the coordination, implementation and delivery of a range of initiatives and programs including events and participate in cross-unit and cross-branch projects as required.
What we're looking for
- Experience and relevant skills in developing creative and engaging online content, through social media, websites, apps etc.
- Experience with Meta and other content planning platforms
- Experience or interest in military history or an understanding of the experience of veterans
