Role Details:
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Communications Advisor to join on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:
- Implementing communication plans and delivering high quality content and services to support organisational goals.
- Sourcing and producing content for the department’s communications channels and providing communications support to a range of projects.
- Providing best practice advice for online content across a variety of channels, working with a wide range of content custodians across DCP and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and advise on the development, implementation and ongoing review of agency communications, plans and strategies to support the communication goals of the Department.
About You
We are looking for an dynamic communicator with proven experience in developing and implementing internal and external communication and engagement strategies across a range of service platforms.
You will have the ability to think creatively and function effectively in a politically sensitive environment, have the ability to develop positive communications content across various online and print channels, and drive a wide range of communications activities across DCP.
Our ideal candidate will have exceptional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills which enables you to maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders and staff at all levels.
