About the Opportunity
An opportunity has become available in our Sydney CBD Office for a part-time Communications Coordinator to join the National Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping build brand awareness within the Australian property market by supporting the Communications Manager through creating engaging copy and corporate messaging, including those for internal and external communications, as well as creating content for and managing Savills social media platforms.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent Graduate or student in their final year, looking for an opportunity to kick-start their career within Communications, under the mentorship of a great leader.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Assisting with generating copy for internal communications, including business wide updates and internal news stories for the Savills intranet and internal content platforms
- Preparing, drafting, rewriting, editing and proof-reading copy for corporate collateral that is engaging and on-trend
- Review and improve current documents including capability statements and submissions
- Creating press releases, generating newsworthy angles, liaising with senior stakeholders
- Updating and creating engaging content for social media platforms
- Developing relationships with key stakeholders and working collaboratively to understand the needs of our business, and our clients, in order to generate engaging content for internal, external and social media purposes
What Sets You Apart
- Currently studying or completed PR or Communications degree
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- A high understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight multiple deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong initiative and willingness to learn
- Experience working with real estate or professional services brands is not necessary but will be highly regarded
