WHO IS PEER?PEER is a well-respected industry based not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the training and employment of the highest quality apprentices and the skilling of trades.The Communications & Events Coordinator (CET) will develop and implement the broad communications and marketing strategy for PEER in conjunction with the Communications and Marketing Manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and organise innovative internal and external events
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement, creating and curating engaging content for various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and opportunities, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner, and analyse social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Plan, create, and schedule email campaigns using Campaign Monitor. Design visually appealing and on-brand email templates, develop engaging content for newsletters and promotions, and monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics.
- Support apprentice nominations and applications for industry awards such as NECA, SA Training Awards, MEA, and others.
- Ensure website content is regularly updated and aligned with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
- Create and update promotional materials, ensuring adherence to PEER branding guidelines.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with printing and promotional vendors.
- Provide support to other PEER teams as needed and undertake any other reasonable tasks requested by Communications and Marketing Manager.
- Qualifications in Communications / Events / Marketing.
- Proven experience in coordinating successful events.
- Proven expertise in managing social media platforms to enhance engagement and reach.
- Demonstrated track record of crafting compelling e-newsletters and campaigns that resonate with audiences and drive engagement.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva and Microsoft Office
