Communications Manager
Location: North Ryde
We are currently recruiting a Communications Manager to be part of our Group Corporate Affairs team. In this key role, you'll be supporting the delivery of an integrated internal communications strategy that ignites passion & excitement for Foxtel Group and aligns to the overall company strategy.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Affairs, you will work with a team that is focused on driving employee engagement through the provision of clear and purposeful messages delivered to the right people, at the right time, through the right channels. The Communications Manager will play a lead role in creatively engaging the Group's employee base with key programs, initiatives and world-class content, while also providing support with external corporate communications activities.
As our Communications Manager, you will have cross-functional interaction with senior members of the HR teams as well as broader teams at Foxtel Group and our partners, with a high level of visibility and impact within the business.
Your responsibilities
- Internal communications management: Design and deliver key internal campaigns and events aligned to business/strategic objectives
Digital communications management: Manage the effective flow of communications across Foxtel Group's communications channels, writing engaging content for online, act as an administrator for Foxtel Group on Workplace by Facebook
Impact measurement: Build measurement and evaluation into communications plans and campaigns
Networking and EVP amplification: Develop networks and builds alliances in a cooperative approach. Build and deliver proactive communications efforts to support our company's EVP and strategic narrative to our people and also our prospective talent pool
Stakeholder management: Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships that inspire trust and respect by providing a high-quality service in support of their priorities
Communications Strategy: Delivering the Group internal communications strategy - managing proactive announcements, reporting, storytelling opportunities and key updates to a large and diverse workforce
Corporate communications: Support key external communications activities and channels including managing the corporate website
Creative Thinking: Pushes boundaries with creative thinking, rallies stakeholders from across the org around an idea or initiative and makes it happen at speed
Your experience and capability
The ideal candidate has a strong track record of developing effective communications strategies and campaigns for large organisations including:
- 4 years + internal communications experience or agency background(Media & Entertainment highly desirable) with a strong track record of developing effective communications strategies and campaigns for large organisations
Outstanding communication skills to write, edit and sub-edit across a variety of formats/media including intranet, exec messages and videos
Proven ability to quickly develop an in-depth business knowledge, prioritise work and deliver on very tight deadlines.
Proven ability to develop and deliver internal communication plans across complex audience groups
High level of attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver high quality output in a fast paced environment.
Ability to thrive in past paced environments, agile and easily adaptable to constant change and evolution. Skilled at galvanising teams and stakeholders around change and opportunity.
Highly organised and accountable, you are self-motivated, possess integrity and able to work autonomously across multiple teams
