In this role, you will:
- Be the science guru: Leverage your expertise to develop clear and engaging communication materials for diverse audiences.
- Craft compelling content: Create documents, plans, and other resources that effectively explain complex scientific concepts.
- Bridge the communication gap: Translate technical information into plain English, ensuring consistency with our messaging strategy.
- Collaborate effectively: Work alongside colleagues across the organization to develop and implement communication plans.
- Foster open communication: Actively seek and share knowledge with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of science communication principles and best practices.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor content for various audiences.
- Ability to translate complex scientific information into clear and concise language.
- Proven experience developing engaging communication materials.
- Collaborative spirit and a commitment to teamwork.
• Project planning and management skills
• Visual design skills in Canva, producing Instagram reels and other video content for social media
• Photography and videography skills Adobe Premiere Pro or other video editing software such as Final Cut or Clip Champ.
• Desirable: Experience with planning and audio editing for podcasts
