About the role:
Do you have strong, acute clinical experience? Are you looking to pick up some extra hours? Then joining KinCare may be exactly what you are looking for!
We have a need for someone to help cover shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (roughly between 8am-4pm). We are flexible and can also accommodate either part-time permanent or casual arrangements.
Our community nurses work autonomously and provide vital care to our elderly customers in their own homes. You'll be comfortable driving your own vehicle around the Sunshine Coast providing services such as wound, catheter, stomach and bowel care, and administering medications/injections. You will be responsible for supporting care plans and provide solutions tailored to each customer’s individual needs.
As a core member of our team, you’ll work closely with the families, General Practitioners and others in the KinCare team to ensure a holistic approach to each customer’s health needs, including their physical, emotional and social well-being.
About you:
Full AHPRA registration
An RN with acute clinical experience (ideally some exposure to Community)
Full Driver’s licence, comprehensive insurance and reliable vehicle
The ability to be flexible, resilient and to make decisions confidently
Genuine interest in working in the community and with the elderly, previous experience an advantage
Ability to work autonomously
Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills

Prior to commencement, every successful candidate must complete a new mandatory National Police check, Work rights check, provide proof of full Covid-19 vaccination and any other relevant compliance documents as required.
