About the role
Cedar West is seeking a engaged and experienced Company Accountant to join our team. If you're passionate about financial management, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are ready to contribute to the success of a growing organization, this opportunity is for you!
- 4 or 5 day work week with flexible hours
- Reporting directly to General Manager

Your duties
- Processing BAS, PAYG Withholding Tax, State Payroll Tax and Superannuation payments for multiple entities.
- Produce monthly balance sheets and P/L reconciliation including EOM journal entries.
- Asset Register Management
- Provide accurate budget for approval utilizing fixed and variable calculations.
- Report Generating - monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Manage intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements including BAS, Payroll Tax, Business/Vehicle registrations, licenses, insurance and regulatory reporting.
- Provide & maintain cash flow forecast.
- Provide monthly budget comparison and reports to relevant team leaders.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
- Obtain and review financing options.
- Provide FBT calculations for submission to External Accountant
- Investigate Govt. grants availability and manage applications.
- Supervision of AP / AR Officer including day to day management and allocation of tasks
- Formulate and maintain quarterly directors’ financial reports.
The ideal candidate will have
- Excellent MYOB experience, experience in Employment Hero/Key Pay desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Significant experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills - able to manage and plan own workload
- An approachable team focus
- A flexible mindset to work in a hands-on, fast paced environment
