We pride ourselves on working together as one team to ensure we deliver quality services. We are now looking to expand our team with civil water & gas workers.
The Role
Company Accountant responsible for overseeing daily and month end accounting in addition to financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities as the Company Accountant:
- Oversee the management of the accounts department
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end activities are executed, including financial reporting
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly, Quarterly and yearly financial reporting, provide commentary and insights on consolidated Profit & Loss, budget preparation and cashflow forecasting.
- Provide financial analysis and support to Management and external accountants.
- Preparation of Income tax including FBT and BAS
- Collaborate with Senior management and cross-functional teams
- Assist with accounting process improvements.
- Maintain fixed assets registers & costs
- General accounting as required in Xero

To be considered for the role you must have;
- A minimum 5 year accounting experience in a similar role
- Accounting degree
- Excellent understanding of accounting processes
- Experience using Xero (desirable) or other ERP accounting platforms
