An HR Technology business is recruiting for a Company Secretary to manage the ASIC filings for the Australian business and support international entities across Asia. This is a named position within a Global and Listed business and you will work with regional board members as well as an overseas General Counsel.

The client offers end-to-end HR software to global businesses that covers everything from workforce and talent management, to payroll and workforce efficiency. They have a global footprint with noably large presences in North Amercia, Asia and Australia.
Description
- Governance and Compliance: ensure the company complies with all ASIC requirements and appropriately files documentation in timely manner. Take control of all deadlines over a year and manage the required work-flow to ensure smooth processes.
- Named Company Secretaryfor all ASIC lodgings.
- Board Meetings: schedule relevant meetings and manage the files and relevant reporting for local boards and support with similar events for overseas entities.
- Collaborate: work with Co-Sec teams across JAPAC, as well as Auditors and General Counsels.
- Legal Support: support and work closely with a General Counsel in Asian entity.
Profile
- Lawyer or experienced Company Secretary preferred;
- Previous experience managing corporate governance for listed or international business.
- Detailed understanding of ASIC filing process and procedures and able to comply independently with compliance and regulation.
- Comfortable to overtake and lead required processes for ASIC filings and regular SLT/Board/Overseas Entity meetings.
- Proactive and Innovative able to solve problems, both operational and legal.
- High attention to detail.
