Our client operates across diverse segments and has a reputation for upholding the highest standards of governance and client service.
About the role
Reporting into the Company Secretary, working in a high performing and busy Company Secretariat Team, you will provide company secretarial and corporate governance support to the business. Responsibilities include;
- Managing meetings of subsidiary companies to ensure statutory compliance, including ASIC, APRA and ASX
- Preparing ASX Announcements, including substantive and statutory
- Managing the preparation and coordination of board meetings
- Minute taking from subsidiary and board meetings, and following up on action items
- Drafting and ammending corporate governance documents
- Maintaining corporate records and statutory registers
- Prior experience within an ASX Listed organisation
- Strong understanding of the Corporations Act, ASX listings and APRA Prudential Standards
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- A thorough understanding of the necessity to maintain meticulous records and adhere to critical reporting deadlines
- Thrives in a busy role and enjoys working within a close-knit team
- Exhibits strong communication skills and proactively engages with stakeholders across the organisation.
