Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Compliance and Quality Officer to join our team on a part-time basis, working 2 to 3 days per week. This role is crucial in ensuring that our services not only meet but exceed the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our compliance with the NDIS Workforce Capability Framework, enhancing our service quality, and supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Compliance and Quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
- Identify areas for improvement and lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance matters and best practices.
- Prepare and present reports on Compliance and Quality assurance activities.
- Liaise with NDIA representatives and other stakeholders to stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a Compliance and Quality role within the NDIS or disability services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
- Familiarity with the NDIS Workforce Capability Framework.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage projects.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field (e.g., Compliance, Quality Assurance, Disability Services).
