Position Summary:
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Compliance Officer provides day to day support to the Compliance Manager, ensuring compliance related administrative tasks are actioned and completed in a timely manner whilst liaising with departmental Managers and their staff as required.
NHVAS - Mass, Maintenance & Fatigue Management / WHS:
- Monitor driver work diary records, advising of any clerical or compliance issues.
- Follow up with other transport departments regarding Quarterly Mass Verifications.
- Updating and maintaining records / registers as required.
- Assisting drivers with work diary queries / amendments as required.
- Maintain and update compliance records relating to the company's Mass, Maintenance and Fatigue Management System.
- Maintain and update WHS records relating to the company's Safety Management System.
Inductions / Onboarding:
- Ensure all new staff have been onboarded per company procedures including medicals. Internal / external inductions as required.
- Maintain and update personnel records as required in Online Induction System.
- Maintain and update hard copy personnel files ae required.
- Maintain and update registration records in both hard copy and electronic format.
Process and Systems Improvement:
- Provide assistance to the Compliance Manager regarding process and systems improvements as identified and required by the business.
- Assist in creating forms and documents as required.
