As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to join our team and ensure that our company adheres to all relevant standards, regulations, and internal policies.

Job Responsibilities:

As the Compliance Officer at GCC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of our certification processes. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

·        Overseeing all aspects of the certification process, from initial application to final approval.

·        Conducting technical reviews on audit reports and providing feedback to auditors in line with accreditation requirements and GCC procedures.

·        Collaborating with auditors throughout the audit process, addressing inquiries, and providing accurate and prompt information as needed.

·        Providing guidance and training to auditors to promote a culture of integrity and excellence.

·        Collaborating with clients throughout the certification process, addressing inquiries in line with accreditation requirements.

·        Working with internal teams to gather necessary documentation and information for certification decisions, including application review, audit duration, audit team qualifications, and technical review.

·        Maintaining accurate records of certification decisions, including issuance, suspension, withdrawal, and changes of certificates, ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements and GCC procedures.

·        Assisting in the development and improvement of certification procedures and documentation.

·        Communicating promptly, courteously, and effectively with internal and external stakeholders in all circumstances, including providing information, answering questions, and participating in problem resolution.

·        Conducting periodic reviews and internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance with certification process requirements.

·        Providing support to the Certification Manager in various administrative tasks and projects related to certification activities, as well as JASANZ assessments.

·        Staying informed about changes in standards and requirements that may impact the company's compliance obligations.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business administration, quality management, or a related discipline.

·        2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the relevant industry, auditing, compliance, or quality assurance.

·        Holding ISO 9001 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor certification (other standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001 is a plus).

·        Knowledge of accreditation standards and requirements, such as ISO 17021, IAF Mandatory Documents, etc., is an advantage.

·        Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail, as well as analytical skills.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.

·        Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and experience with Customer Relationship Management systems such as Salesforce.

·        Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

·        Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

·        Demonstrated integrity and ethical behaviour with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.
